Install Gold Rummy on Android

Once your file has finished downloading, use this guide to find it, review the Android installer and complete setup on your phone.

Before you begin

Use an Android phone with a working connection and enough free storage for both the download and installation. An APK is an Android installation file; it cannot be installed on an iPhone.

If you already have an installed app and want to keep your account or saved settings, read our update guide before making changes.

Find the completed file

  1. Open the browser you used for the download.
  2. Open its Downloads menu and find the completed file.
  3. If it still shows progress, wait until the download finishes.
  4. Tap the file once to open the Android installer.

You can also use your phone’s Files app and open the Downloads folder. Avoid opening an older copy simply because it has a similar name.

Review Android’s installation prompt

Android may ask whether the browser or Files app is allowed to install apps. The setting usually appears under Install unknown apps; the exact wording varies by device.

Review the source and file first. If you decide to continue, enable permission only for the app you are using for this installation. Keep Play Protect and other device protections enabled.

Return to the installer, review the app name and permissions, and select Install. After setup, you can turn off the source-specific permission again.

Open the app

Choose Open when the installer finishes, or use the new icon on your home screen. Allow the first screen to finish loading before moving to the next step.

For account access, see login help. If Android reports an error, use the troubleshooting guide to match the message to the next check.
